The white lie

What is it about the white lie that makes people think that it’s not lying? In my opinion a white lie is a little more worse than a plain out right lying. The white lie takes a little more calculation and thought because the truth is mixed in with a the lie and it has to made to look seamless. It is a type of omission of because parts of the truth has been removed and replaced with lie so not that makes the person telling the white lie look bad. It’s a form of deceiving another. It’s a form of manipulation of another’s thoughts and feelings over that white lie situation. The person telling the white lie thinks they are scot-free of accountability. People engaging in white lies or any type of lie are trying to avoid the consequences of their actions.
