Unconditionally conditional

Have you ever been faced with a conditionally unconditional situation? This is when a situation itself is shown as unconditional but actually has underlying condition. For instance, when you're told, it doesn't matter whether you do "this thing" but when you don't do "this thing" you get a backlash for not doing "that thing." The conditionally unconditional situation isn't limited to just situations but can be in a relational situation. An example of this would be when someone says "I love you" but when you don't do certain thing(s), you get affectionately ousted or emotionally shunned as a punishment for not performing a task. The same can happen you're told, "you're perfect" until you put on a couple of pounds, then you get squeezed like your on a special K commercial, where they say, "can you pinch more than an inch?" So for anyone out there know that pinching someone fat roll is not real reassuring and down right rude. This is not a loving act but rather a silent way of telling someone, "you've put on a little weight." What should happen in a relationship are loving gestures or verbal affirmations, nobody wants to be made feel like they are less than. You're supposed to feel safe and secure in a relationship and things like that create the opposite.
