what would you do?

What would you do if you were handed a gift? Specifically, a gift from God? Would you recognize it as a gift from God? A gift was handed to you on a platter with all the trimmings, would you cherish such a gift or would you just throw it away? I don't know about you but I would cherish such a gift because something like that only comes around once in a lifetime. We spend our days wishing, praying and hoping for our hearts desire to have someone to love and have them love you back. I remember when I met my man how everything fell into place effortlessly and I couldn't deny that was God's hand was in it. This gift came at a time in my life where I thought I would never be able to love and trust another again. I won't lie, I was scared to accept this gift and not knowing what to expect from it. It's was hard for me to open up to trust and love another again, after my past pain and disappointments. So, instead of listening to my head, I listened to my heart. Now, I hope he feels the same as I await to see how this chapter of my life unfolds.
