misuse of words

People sometimes learn things about you and they use it to hurt and manipulate you. What they lack to understand is that kind of vulnerability is a privildge and should not be used as a weapon. When some one confides is you it's a sign they trust you and by using their words as weapons betrays that trust. The pain inflicted by it cuts deeply and it truly shows that person's character. Additionally, it shows how cold and indifferent they are and how they are so willing to hurt another to make themselves feel in control and to make their ego feel better. Personally, I think those people should use that information to mature and grow that relationship deeper but instead they use it as sword to cut it down.
