My self discovery
The things that I endured in life have shown me how resilient, resourceful and that I possess a strength I didn’t know I had. Since I was a kid I have always looked up to my mom. She taught me what strength and perseverance look like. I also learned from her how to love unconditionally and how to have an open mind. I have leaned on my mom as well as my children for wisdom. You may be shocked to hear that mom’s or parents or even grand parent and children possess wisdom. Mom’s possess wisdom from their past choices and life experiences. My mom and grand parents shared with me traditions and ideals that often no longer seem to exist in this day and age. My children’s wisdom also comes from their choices and life experiences but from a time that I sometimes can’t related to. The various wisdoms imparted to me have helped me see and to understand these changing times. Through this sharing of wisdom I have learned that me and my mom, children, and grand parents weren’t that different, we just had different experiences. I grew up hating the world and I decided that I wasn’t going to be anything the world wanted me to be. News flash I was exactly what this world wanted me to be and then some, sadly it took me this long to see that. I am now learning to live life for myself and how to function being on my own two feet.
I hope my mom and children will read this and know that they are my guardian angels and I thank them for saving me.
