A waste of time is not taking the time...

I feel as if when you get involved in a relationship you have to give it your all through the good, bad and the ugly periods. Too many think that being in a relationship doesn’t require time of effort. A great strong relationship is cultivated. I like to compare a relationship like a garden. When you have a garden you have to fertilize it and water it, otherwise nothing will grow. I’m guessing this is why relationships go stagnant, wither and die. You have to put a lot of feelings and emotions into a relationship and sometimes that makes people feel uneasy and uncomfortable. If things were easy and comfortable in life we would have progress. There should be date nights, movie nights, outings, game night or just cuddle time just to mention a few to help grow the bond in a relationship. If you’re not willing to put the energy required into a relationship then why waste your time and the other persons time. This effort needs to be put in by both and it cannot be one-sided, otherwise what’s the point of being in a relationship if your by yourself in that relationship.
