I wouldn’t have chosen it.

There are things in my life that I wouldn't have chosen but I can thank God that he gave me the strength and courage to get through it. I heard this and it touched me deeply. The Lord took the nails from the Devil so that he would no longer be able to nail me and keep me stuck on that cross. No longer will he be able to silence me, guilt me or shame me because Christ my Lord and Savior took all that in my place. He freed me from that pain, guilt and shame that I felt. Christ told the Devil "Enough!", I'm taking the nails so she can be free.
