Did you know God is the greatest interior designer in the world? An interior designer is someone that has formal training that focus' on the structural, functionality and technical aspect, as well as, renovating, spacialy planning, making sure everything is up to building code. So when you pray you are essentially hiring God to redesign you into something more functional and to make changes for the better. This means you have to trust that he can do the job by letting go of any fears and insecurities. You can take comfort that God is well qualified and I dare say overqualified to handle the job and in fact, there is nobody better than him. So relax while he is working out the intricate details of you design. There's a lot of work involved and may require patience and time because you want the job done right. Remember first comes the tearing down of the old to make room for the new. The rebuilding required careful planning of where all the new things will go. He has to make sure all the wiring is up to code and in the places required which means he needs to make sure our mindset is equipped to handle the load of the new things. Structurally he needs to make sure the foundation is strong enough to handle the weight of the new things. This comes in the form of changing you perspective on things and letting ego take a back seat because again you knows better than the master interior designer? This is easier said than done because our tendencies are to hold tightly to the things make us feel safe and comfortable. Redesigning is a rebuilding and rebuilding isn't comfortable and some times feel unsafe. Holding on this delays the redesign and keeps us in a state of confusion and chaos. We stay stuck in a old mindset, thoughts or behaviors, essentially, we try to glue it or piece it back together because of the fear and possibility that "what if". There has to be a total surrendering to the process because in the end it will bring peace and clarity that will help us flourish in life.
